Hey, just a quick heads up to let you know that I’ll be at the East Texas Wedding Extravaganza. This bridal show will be at the Tyler Rose Garden July 11th from 12:00-4:00.

I started doing this last month and got a good little response so I think a tradition has been born. It’s time to jump back to May of 2009 and take a look at some of my favorite images from the month. It’s crazy for me to think that I shot these frames last year, some of them only feel like I took them 3 months ago.

Bridal Photography Elmwood Gardens | Brynne

Brynne’s 1st bridal session date was rained out. While we were shooting her bridal session at Elmwood Gardens it started to drizzle. I looked at her and asked if we needed to head inside, and she said “Nope, it’s just a little rain, it won’t hurt anything.” Thanks for a great session Brynne, here are a few of my favorites.

Brandy | Bridal Photography Marshall, TX

Brandy was a bit nervous as we started her session, but as the session went on, she relaed and found her groove. I really like some of the images we got. It’s funny because she booked me about 1.5 years out, so it feels like she’s been my client forever. I can’t believe we finally got to do her bridal session and her wedding is just around the corner.

Brandy has the perfect smile/laugh combo.

Kenzie | Elmwood Gardens Bridal Photography

Kenzie and I had such a great time all over Elmwood Gardens. We explored all the little nooks and crannys that makes Elmwood such a great place to photograph. Her mom was there making sure she always had enough lipstick on. (A little inside joke.) Anyway, here are a few of my favorites.

One side note: Kenzie got her dress at a great little dress shop called Weddings A to Z. They are located in Tyler and Brenda and her team do a great job taking care of their brides. (Be on the lookout for their vendor interview in the coming days.)

Jean: The Musical Bride

Both Jean & James are very much into music so the theme for her bridal session was a perfect fit.

We started the session off at James’ drum set.

Next up was his guitar. (i’m sure she’ll get in trouble later for not holding it just right.)

Finally we ended up with her saxophone.
