I’ll be honest. On a scale of 1-10 I was expecting this wedding to come in at an 8.75 or a 9.5. Once we got rolling with Lauren & Brent shots it quickly became apparent that they had dialed it up to 11. These two were amazing. They had some crazy groomsmen and bridesmaids who were up for anything and they all gave me an hour and a half before the ceremony for pictures. They kept joking that the only reason they were getting married was so that they could take pictures together. After a while I started to believe them.

Anyway, here are a few of my favorites of the two of them. I’ll be posting more from the wedding right after the Christmas break, but I just HAD to get a few of these up before I take some time off.

I never get tired of photographing brides and grooms right after they have seen each other for the first time.

I found this tree on the outskirts of The Villa and just knew it would be perfect for them.

Vogue called. They want their magazine cover back.

As much as I LOVE this next shot, and I really really love it, I think the one that is making the wedding top 10 list may be better.

We love Christmas and it’s never too early to start at our house. Each year the kids make cookie ornaments and this year they made them the day after I got a shiny new camera that shoots both photos and HD video so of course I had to document the whole project. Be sure and watch at around the minute and a half mark. Luke decided to eat some and Danielle does a “Professional Mom” finger sweep to save his life. Merry Christmas everyone.

So a few weeks ago I had Vanessa McKeller film me while I did an engagement session. I book so many of my weddings from couples who are out of town or can not meet until the day of the engagement/bridal session that I thought it would be fun to let you all come along on a session to see what they are like. This will give you kinda a behind the scenes look at what goes on and what to expect.
