I had a blast shooting my sister in law, her husband, and super cute baby girl this morning. They live in Hong Kong so this was my first shot at taking some photos since they have had their little girl. Jaya loves me most of all the people she has met here in the States and her face lights up when her Uncle Awesome comes in the room. :) Here are a few of my favorites…

Some people put babies in pumpkins and flower pots, I found this great concrete cylinder and thought it would be cool.

Many thanks to my friend Tammy Williams, an amazing children’s photographer, for advice on posing, tips, and ideas. All you moms with babies should definitely set up a photo session with her.

A few days ago I had a super fun shipment come in from UPS. They delivered a little treat that I will be giving to all future brides. (If you already booked me, don’t worry, you’ll be getting the gift. as well.) I am not telling you what it is or when you will be getting it because I want it to be a surprise, but I will post a few pictures. :) Thanks for being the best brides around! Happy guessing.

I had a great time shooting Nick & Kristina’s Engagement session in Tyler today. We started downtown where they had their first date and they told me that they finished their date talking by the fountain so I knew we would end up there, I just didn’t know it would be as fun as it was.

These ladies were having fun watching us take some photos. When I asked them if they wanted to be in one they jumped at the chance. :)

I get hundreds of hits on this site per day and as great as that is for my little ego I would still like to know more about you all. :)  Who are you?  Why do you come here?  How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop?

Reason #284 why Jonathan makes a great groom. When the ring bearers are freaking out and don’t want to be still for the photos, he jsut squats next to them and makes it look cool.

Jonathan’s mom did an amazing job on their wedding cake.

I am crazy about theses next two shots. It’s just them being sweet to each other. Nothing posed or force. Just two people who are crazy about each other .



Casey Brown of CMB Music Productions was there and he brought his laser lights. It really helped set the mood for the dancing and made the photos that much cooler. (You brides who are booking him for your wedding, be sure and pay the little bit extra it cost for those. They are totally worth it!)

Anytime a 100 dollar bill makes an appearace, you know it was a good Dollar Dance.



There were 3, count em, 3 former Alex M. brides at this wedding! Canon has not cut his hair since his wedding, Kerri the trampoline bride was there, and it’s great to know Tonya still likes to dance with her dad.

Once it was pitch black outside we snuck out for a few more shots and I’m glad we did.
