Jennifer & Steven were my second session of the day and they totally did not disappoint!  These two brought their A-Game.  Seriously cool photos ahead.  Enjoy.  Also, mark your calendars because their wedding at Ashton Gardens is going to be off the chi-zane.

These two both dig graffiti and documentaries like Exit Through The Gift Shop so we had a few great spots to hit.

Steven is also a bit of a sneaker head.  We talked about his shoes and the documentary Just For Kicks, which I mentioned this past Feb on the blog.  I could not resist following them home once we were “done” to get a few shots of him with his most valuable possession(s).

Megan & Mitch were so much fun to shoot.  Every year I get a few couples that I know I would want to be friends with “in real life” and these two instantly moved onto that list.  Megan is actually a photographer herself so her choosing me to shoot her wedding was kinda a huge deal. :)  (She’s also getting Vanessa McKellar to film her wedding.)  Anyway, on to the images.  We started at the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens.  Very very fun stuff.

This was the part of the session where I started calling Mitch “Hollister”.  He was totally a rock star model.

These two met at the gym where they both trained so we figured it would be a good place to shoot. :)  We were right.

I hope all of you had a great Christmas weekend.  I know many of us have to get back to the rat race today so I thought I’d cheer you up with some fancy looking photos.  I somehow forgot to do a rewind last month so you get a double dose today!  Here are some of my favorite images from November & December of last year.  Enjoy.

There’s nothing like getting a Christmas card in the mail.  You look at it, smile, then toss it in the trash.  Wait…. I mean…. keep it forever. :) For some reason we have never been a send out a christmas card type of family.  Maybe it’s because our kids are not cute enough.  Maybe it’s because we never have any good photos.  Maybe it’s because we are Jewish.  Who knows.

We knew form the start thought that this year would be different.  Throughout the year we made sure to get tons of shots with Santa hats so we would have a few options come December.  I couldn’t decide on one though so here they all are. :)

A few weeks ago Jon Acuff the author of Stuff Christians Like (Fantastic site.  You should visit it everyday.) offered to write out Christmas cards for a certain number of people.  I made the cut.  Enjoy the holidays.

Eli is a wild man, Luke cries in Sunday School. I know that pain all too well.
We’re practically the same person. Except my last name is pretty boring and his kind of sounds like a cool dance move.
And the last thing we have in common?

We both want you to have a Merry Christmas!

I had two engagement sessions in Dallas yesterday.  Both of them blew my brains out with their level of cool.  Check it.
