I have been looking forward to Randall’s bridal session since way back in October when I did her super fun engagement session. She had mentioned that they might have their wedding at her uncle’s house and even though it was not finished then I kept hoping that’s what would happen because it looked like it was going to be amazing. Well, here we are 9 months later and everything has fallen into place. We did her session there and I can’t wait to get back there in a few months for the wedding.

I am totally digging the combination of this house and her dress.

I LOVED this red room.

So I typically don’t post “tradition” poses on the blog, but this one was too fun to pass up. I just love the colors and how relaxed and beautiful Randall looks in this shot.

About 5 minutes into Megan’s bridal session she became my least favorite bride of 2009. Here is the problem. Megan found out about me and booked me AFTER she had booked her wedding photographer. Boo. However, she liked my work enough to ask me to do her bridal session. Yeah! Then I met her and started her session and realized that the bridal session would not be enough and I wish I was shooting her wedding in a few months. Boo again.

In all seriousness it was an absolute blast to work with both Megan and her mom. It was super hot the day of the session so they suggested doing some “in their house”. Let me be blunt. This is typically not an idea I jump up and down about, most houses are not designed to host bridal sessions, they are designed to live in. Once I walked into their house however I pretty much felt like I was in photography heaven. Super cool furniture, great lighting, and the perfect dress/bride combo to complete the look. Enough blabbing. Enjoy…

My new favorite picture.

My new second favorite picture.

I totally could not pick just one to blog.

At her house Megan’s mom also told me about a “friend who has a great back yard”. (Another phrase that gives me chills.) Again, nothing against back yards, but potted plants, and green grass do not a Secret Garden make. But, being polite and well paid, I played along and hoped for the best.

Ladies and gentlemen… I give you the Best. Backyard. Ever.

Tyler, Texas everybody.

Thanks so much for an amazing session. I can’t wait to get you the rest of your images and am still mad at you for getting married without me. :)

Davi and her mom were an absolute blast to work with. It’s funny because they kept telling me they wanted to do whatever I said, but then kept suggesting poses and then apologizing for it after. :) We had so much fun driving around town and I’m so stoked about so many of the shots we got.

Davi is getting married out at Elmwood Gardens but wanted a few shots at a church looking all fancy and bride-ly. I think she pulled it off.

This next shot may be one of my favorite bridal session moments of all time. She is super close to her Great Aunt, but she will not be able to come to the wedding so Davi asked if we could stop by her home and do a few shots of the two of them together and let her see her in the dress. Apparently Davi did not get the memo that brides are supposed to be into themselves and their day and everyone else is supposed to revolve around them. I’m not quite sure why she is thinking of others but I went along with it.

She will be wearing these on the wedding day. Ingram will be her new last name. (They are also doubling as her “something blue”.)

Both her fiance’ and her dad served in the armed forces so a tank was a natural fit.

Also, for all of you looking at this picture and freaking out about things getting dirty, don’t worry.  We kept the tank clean.

With her wedding only a few weeks away, we went all over Palestine getting these shots. Here are a few of my favorites.

She brought her mother’s veil just so she could make fun of her. :) AWESOME!

We did Lindsey’s bridal session at Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville. She is super fun, laid back, and I am pretty estocked about her July 4th wedding! (Fireworks)

She snuck her fiancee’s guitar away for the session.

Of course we had to work the fish face in.
