Gina & Kevin had an incredible wedding at Metro Church in Longview, TX. Here are a some of my favorite shots from the day.

The more weddings I work, the more I realize a bride’s shoes are almost as important to her as the groom. :)

These two had a killer First Look.

Casa Flora Flowers did an amazing job with the arrangements. You should book them.

Carrie Alexander did Gina’s make-up. (auntharry@hotmail.com | 903-261-2428)

This is Kevin’s daughter. I let her sneak into the balcony to watch their First Look. She started tearing up. Then I started crying. Then my photos were out of focus. It’s OK though. Right? :)

Tasty and delicious cakes from Chez Bazan. You should also book them. :)

You can’t really see her in this shot, but Lydia Covey was also at the wedding rockin’ her harp. If you are looking for a harp at your wedding, she is your girl. :)

The whole family.

Gina & her dad had a great father daughter dance.

The Chad Evans Band did an AMAZING job at the reception. If you are in need of band you should really check them out. (903.736.6868)

The Mug Machine was also there. Those will be posted later this week.

A few of my favorites from Kristen & Brandon’s wedding at the Villa di Felicita in Tyler, TX.

Another tasty cake from Designs by D’Anne

These two came ready to work.

La Tee Da Flowers did their magic.  I always love getting to work with them.

Every time I mentioned having a First Look to these two they were opposed to it.  About 3 weeks before the wedding Kristen said they had changed there mind and wanted to do one.  Once they saw each other both of them really seemed to “settle down” and they kept mentioning how glad they were they decided to do one. :)

I like to keep my couples alone for a few minute after their First Look, but these two were too cute to shoo away. :)

We went outside for a few shots with the wedding party.  We looked at the back of Kristen’s dress & found some grasshoppers who were also celebrating their wedding day.  I joined the groomsmen in photographing them proving that all males, regardless of age, are just 6th grade boys when it comes to humor.

A quick action shot of Thomas taking care of the wedding walk.  This is just one example of why I love La Tee Da so much.  He waited till the last possible minute to set out these flowers because he didn’t want the wind to blow them to the side.

Thankfully Thomas had left by this point or I’m afraid the ring bearer would have gotten in trouble. :)

Two things I love about this photo.
1. A Seriously good “You may kiss the bride”.
2. Jeff Heimer from JMH Pro peaking around the back.
(I love working with talented videographers and Jeff is one of the best in the area.)

Come back tomorrow for some fantastic-ly delicious Mug Machine photos!

Jean, James, & The Purple Wedding
Jean, James, & The Purple Wedding

Sometimes when I get to a wedding and a bride had told me her color it’s still hard to “find” her color.  There was no doubt Jean wanted a bit of purple in her day. :)

These two had one of the sweetest First Looks in a while.  They just stood there and hugged and talked for quite a while.

I’m not sure who drew their gun first, but there was a bit of a stand off for a while.  Things got tense. :)

Flying bridesmaid.

Impromptu Dance Party.

This was James as they left the ceremony and were heading down the hall for a few minutes alone. :)

CMB DJs with a non-impromptu dance party.
Also, a big thanks to Stephanie Jamison for coordinating this wedding.  You can reach here at (903) 922-6896 or follow her on Twitter where she is always giving out great little planning tips.

I had a great time at the Villa di Felicita in Tyler, TX shooting Katherine & Sean’s wedding.  Here are just a few of my favorites from the day.

Katherine& her dad share a treat from the candy bar.

The tasty and fancy cakes were done by the umber talented ladies over at Edible Art.

Some First Look goodness.

The flower girl spent a few minutes scratching Katherine’s back and relaxing her before the ceremony.

If you look over to the right of the photo you can catch a glimpse of RuthAnne.  She was rockin’ the harp and did a swell job.  You should book her for your wedding.

Of all the weddings I have shot at the Villa di Felicita, this was the first I ever saw or heard an airplane fly over.  I’m assuming it was heading towards the island for the LOST series finale.

CMB DJs kept everyone dancing the whole night long.

The Mug Machine was also at the wedding so be on the lookout for those later this week.

Christina & Josh had what may be the most laid back/fun wedding I have ever attended.  Need proof?  Take a look.

Christina started her day getting her hair done at the Avalon Salon & Spa. :)

Here is a little taste of how cool this wedding was.  This was her bouquet from the rehearsal.  It was made from E-mails Josh had sent her when he was overseas serving in the military.

You may remember these two love Legos.  I borrowed their cake toppers for the ring shot.

Some First Look photo goodness.  It’s amazing how Josh totally relaxed the moment he saw Christina.

Is it OK if we jump straight to the reception?  It was at the swanky and fun 300 Club in Addison.

Wanna see more from their wedding?  You’re in luck.  The Mug Machine was there and I’ll be posting those photos soon!
