I LOVED these two 5 minutes into their engagement session so I was truly honored that they flew me out to Colorado for their wedding. In other news… Denver in February is cold.
This was my second wedding at a Noah’s Event Center. These venues have their act together ladies. You should check them out.
It was so so cold, the bridesmaids did great jumping outside for a few photos… the flower girls…. not so much. :)
Jonathan may have teared up a bit at the sight of his bride.
Their friends managed the perfect balance of saying nice things about the bride and groom and saying embarrassing things about the bride and groom. :)
Again, thank you guys so much for trusting me with your day and all the images leading up to it.

Bridals, engagements, photo booths, they are all fun, but this is why we are here, to witness the union of two people. Here are some of my favorite photos from weddings in 2013.

1. Ashley & Blake: I loved this moment from their First Look. Just the two of them sharing one of many many laughs on their wedding day.
2. Gabrielle & Kendal: I’m a bit partial to this photo. The little man is my oldest son. He got a bit embarrassed when the bridesmaids commented on how handsome he was. (Also, how hot is that bridesmaid on the left?)
3. Angela & BJ: When BJ had Angela’s daughter come up so he could give her a necklace and promise to love her forever. Everyone teared up.
4. Jaimie & Nolan: Jaimie had been feeling bad all day and was not up to a big first dance grand entrance. So Nolan did the next best thing. He danced with her in the kitchen in a back room before they made their entrance.
5. Heather & Travis: All Heather & Travis wanted was a wedding out in a big open field. I think they managed to find one. :)
6. Dee & Dustin: As a general rule, if you get married in a red dress, you are gonna make the top 10.
7. Amanda & Clayton: I always love it when couples do a get away that involves people throwing things at their face.
8. Jennifer & Jonathan: This military couple was up for anything. Including jumping up on a big hay bail.
9. Meagan & Joe: Most brides know in advance they are gonna get popped on the way out. Most brides still forget. :)
10. Natalie & Jason: I’m not exaggerating when I say that Jason must have repeated the words “you are so beautiful.” about 30 times during their First Look.

Today’s category: Random
The thing with weddings is that you can Pinterest them to death but sometimes it’s the unplanned random moments that end up sticking out and being the best.

1. Pick: Like that time your ring bearer gets caught with his finger all the way in right before you hand him the pillow.
2. Boots: Lady-shmady. I’m gonna be comfortable on my wedding day. I’m wearing my riding boots. :)
3. Dance: Remember that time my groomsman owned the entire dance floor.
4. Spaghetti: This was a groomsman. This was one of the best men the groom knew. This guy is in his inner circle. Kinda says something doesn’t it.
5. Scream: When your cousins go around yelling at people to take shots…. you may have an awesome wedding.
6. Photo Bomb: Well done. Well done indeed.
7. Best Man: Best looking best man I’ve ever seen.
8. Party Shirts: These Air Foce guys were rockin’ these shirts under their blues. So so awesome.
9. High Five: When the groom asks to end the wedding with an 80’s movie style high five with his guys… you may have an awesome wedding.
10. Jesus: I am the light of the world. (And the breaker box.)
