Megan & Mitch get their Mug Machine on.
Hey you know how The Knot gives out all those fancy pants awards to the best wedding photographers? Well sometimes those photographers have to get married and THEY have to pick a wedding photographer. :) Megan won a fancy pants award from The Knot this year. She also got engaged and picked me to shoot her wedding. Not an official award, but a pretty good compliment right? :)
Alrighty then. On to the images!
Old cameras + wedding rings = FUN!
Best Groomsmen Ever?
It was June. It was hot.Reason #7,352 to get your wedding filmed: 25 years from now you can hear EXACTLY how you were feeling 15 minutes before your ceremony.
Major props to Vanessa & Brent McKellar for their help and creativity on this wedding.
Megan & her dad had a super sweet dance. Gus from YourDJ did a terrific job.
The Mug Machine was also there in full force. Check those photos out on Monday morning!
So summer time is upon us. It’s that magical time of year where a new action blockbuster, world saving, alien crushing, robot destruction movie comes out every other day. I figured it would be a great time to let you in on the 10 movies I can’t wait to watch. Some of these are coming out, some have recently come out, some won’t be coming out for almost a year. Either way, here are some movies I think look great and you should add them to your mental queue. But, before we jump into the movies, how about this super cool movie themed wedding proposal video I found on YouTube.
Not bad eh. OK, as far as the movies, I’m not going to write summaries or anything, just look at the poster and if it’s not enough to get you to the movie the click on the title to get to the movie trailer. Enjoy.
1: Cars 2
2. The Help
3: The Last Lions
4: The Decendants
5: Win Win
6: Green With Envy
7: A Little Help
8: Page One
9: The Music Never Stopped
10: Winter In Wartime
and…. since I figure 99.99999% of the people who are on the site have watched The Notebook, here is a “chick flick” I’m sure you will all cry at next year. :)
11: The Vow
OK, so that’s what I want to watch, now it’s your turn, leave a comment below telling me what movies you are looking forward to watching. Ready…. GO!
Melinda & Chris had lived in Ft. Worth for a while but never been to the stockyards. We fixed that on their engagement shoot. :)
I adore this last image. Hair-crazy-wind blowing-squeezing-hugging-kiss shot.
Boutineer. BOOM!
The girls and their socks.
Major props to La Te Da Flowers for all the centerpieces and florals at this wedding.
The girls without sock. (But with cool shoes.)
Love how they decorated the arch at the Villa di Felicita. Can’t wait for a bride to do all three arches!!! :)
The Village Bakery in Tyler doing what they do. Tasty too, not that I had a piece. ;)
About as “formal” as they get.
DJ Goldman made sure everyone danced for about 4 hours. It was epic.
Vanessa & Brent McKellar were also their doing their video thing. (Hit the bottom of this post to see their wedding trailer.)
Q: How do you end such a great wedding?
A: Crowd surfing.
You two were so much fun to shoot. I had a blast spending the day with you and can’t wait to get you more photos. Maybe your trailer from Vanessa & Brent McKellar can keep you satisfied for a little bit longer. :)
